For best results, do not mix with non clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill it with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step® litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. Add more Fresh Step® clumping cat litter to refresh your litter box. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

Best litter I have ever tried. Good clumping, odor control, etc. I will not use anything else except this brand! I don’t notice a difference in the fresh step varieties- all are top of the line. But will never buy another brand.

Unscented, low dust and cardboard packaging. No plastic to toss and no more dust all over the litter area. Clumps well and is truly unscented. Had to find new litter as old litter changed formula, so glad I found this! A bit more expensive but better than what I was using for just a few bucks less. Worth the extra to not have to deal with stinky messy litter!

After trying several other litters, I think fresh step is the best for odor control. I’m not sure there is ever going to be a perfect litter, but this comes close. We’re a 2-cat house hold so that means twice the smells. It maintains freshness far longer than the others I’ve tried, including more expensive name brand options. Clumps hold together well during the cleaning and scooping process, and my cats seem to like it.While it’s not as dusty as some litters, it still has some dust that is noticeable when pouring fresh litter in the box, but this tends to settle quickly. Also, why does the price of this product fluctuate so much?

I’ve tried many many cat litters and to tell the truth, I like many of them, but this one seems to be one of the best. First off, it is low dust and perfectly “sculpable”, without dust going in the air. The funny thing is when I refill the litter box, the first thing the cat wants to go do is play in it, which tells me she loves it, and also shell sit on top of the fresh litter, so I know she is not turned off by the scent. I will keep buying this one and I like the size of the box it comes in which is convenient. Some times I mix it half and half with the fresh step clumping crystals. This also works real good! Happy Cat, Happy Life!!!

This is a smaller box than the others that’s why it’s less expensive. I didn’t read size before I got it. Still it’s a good litter, doesn’t stink. The scent is mild, so cats don’t mind. The clumping is not as well as other brands and there is a bit of dust seems to be finer then Outstretch, but it works fine.
