Having dogs in my life for over 40 years I have gone through my share of doggie poop bags. These bags are my all time favorite and I am never without them.I have tried just about every type of bag as I searched for the perfect bag. Colorful ones, scented ones, cute ones with puppy paw prints and doggy sayings, big ones, little ones. You name it, I have used them. That is until I found these little gems. I have a medium size Am Staff and a large Labrador Retriever so I go through a lot of disposal bags.First and foremost, I love that these bags are opaque and black. I do not have to see what is inside the bag while we are on a walk.They are large enough to handle the largest of loads.They are easy to open and are strong. Over the thousands that I have used only a handful have ripped or had a defective seal at the bottom.They come in convenient quantities and the price is the best I have found for quality bags.Each order comes with a bag dispenser with a hook that can be attached to a leash, bag or belt.I keep a roll on every leash, some in the garage, the car and even my purse. These are on my tried and true list of doggie items that every dog owner should use.

I’ve been using them for a year and have never had a bad bag (so no broken seams, holes, etc. while in the middle of a walk). This was common enough in other brands I tried and very frustrating, so I greatly appreciate not having to worry about that with these.They’re thick enough to do the job comfortably without being so thick that it feels like an overuse of plastic. You get a great amount of bags for the price.2 very minor issues I had:- A couple of rolls in the box were more like a gray color than black, which may have been because they were actually slightly thinner than the usual roll. It felt like it when I was inspecting them to see what was up, but I still felt they were thick enough to protect my hand and hold the poo without breaking so it was never a real issue for me.- My hands are pretty dry in the winter and I can’t use lotion, so it was sometimes tough to open the bag. Since it rains here, a quick tap of my finger on any wet surface (or a quick swipe on my tongue if I was sure my hands were clean) made it easy to open. This is just the nature of the plastic so I can’t fault the bags… just FYI if you have dry hands.I was gifted a different set of bags in a care package for my doggo and may stick with those instead depending on how the price changes after I’m done with the box. The gifted bags are biodegradable and have a “notification” sticker when you’re down to three bags left, which I’d brushed off as a fluff feature at first but has turned out to be super darn useful actually. (I also don’t have the dry hands problem with those bags because of the material.) So… once I’m out of bags and need to buy again, it’ll probably just come down to whether those features are worth the price upgrade or not. If not, I’ll come back to these for sure. They’re great bags, especially for the price.

I’ve been using the Amazon Basics Dog Poop Bags for a while now ( subscription), and they’ve been fantastic. The bags are durable, easy to tie, and large enough to handle all sizes of dog waste. I appreciate that they’re thick enough to avoid any leaks or tears, which is a big deal when you’re dealing with something like this!The roll design fits easily in my bag holder, and I never have trouble pulling out a new bag. Plus, the bags are unscented, which I prefer. They do the job without any fuss. For the price, these are an excellent deal – I haven’t found anything that compares in terms of cost and quality. Highly recommend for any dog owner!

These are REALLY great poop sacks. Truly the best! You might think “a poop sack is a poop sack” but you would be wrong. These tear off and open up perfectly. We have never had a leak. They hold a really nice amount of poop and there is still enough length to tie them off securely. There are just so many good things you could say about these poop sacks. And don’t stop there – these bags are so versatile. Our grocery store stopped handing out single use plastic bags so I was struggling to find something to bring my lunch in. Bingo! These poop sacks will easily hold a sandwich, apple, chips and a granola bar. We also use them for dirty diapers, sandwich bags, and just for holding things. I defy you to find a better poop sack anywhere. Amazon basics, you rock!
