This product really works! It helps my dog with her sensitive stomach issues. Her poop is now formed and easier to pick up during our walks. Less gas and less belly upsets and mushy stools. It did take a good 2 weeks to really start working so give it time. I also gradually added it to her food . Use as directed.

Works great! I must say how amazing this stuff worked to help my 11 year old lab out with anal gland leakage. She got an infected gland few months ago. Went to vet got antibiotics and meds for her behind. Once infection was gone she developed loose stools. She wasn’t expressing her glands when pooping, so they would just leak onto her behind. After trying several fiber supplements as suggested by the vet, no luck. After researching best supplements or foods to give, I came across Bernie’s Perfect Poop. After one week her stools started getting more formed. After two weeks, she’s pooping normal and her glands are working great. This product has made my old girl much better. Plus the constant booty wiping days are at an end. I am so thankful for this stuff!!

I have two dogs – a mini schnauzer, Baley (11 years old) and a basenji, Jax (9 years old). Being older dogs, as in people, I expected to have issues with them especially with their digestion. I had no idea how bad it would get, especially with Baley. I have always taken exceptional care of them even to the point of giving up things for myself. I changed their food and still nothing was working. For @ 3 months, his diarrhea went from water to soft puddles or soft formed stool intermittently. Once in a while, it would firm up but not often. Poor baby could not enjoy his walks because every 10 or 20 steps required him to try and push something out, even if it was just a few drops of watery poop. I carried paper towels with me and had to apologize to neighbors because I could not pick it all up. So, the walks stopped and he was using the doggie door all day long. My backyard was a mess but i picked up what I could and used extra dirt on the residue. Inside, he stayed in one position, too scared to move. He had one accident on the doggie bed. At night, he could not sleep well because his stomach was rumbling. I worked with my vet and for a while the medication and probiotic worked but when that was gone, his issues returned. So, one day I decided that since my efforts were not working the way I wanted them to, I would find a better product for his overall digestive health that was not in such a powdery form that I felt I was inhaling it. I found the Bernie’s Perfect Poop product and after reading the ingredients, I gave it a try. Best thing I ever did!!! I followed the instructions and started with a smaller dosage of 1/2 teaspoon twice a day for two weeks. Every two weeks, I increased the amount by 1/2 teaspoon until I got to the 1 tablespoon amount that works for my dogs. Within a two-week period, I could tell it was working. Poop was looking better and better, did not smell as bad and thank goodness, their passing gas did not run me out of the room and I could finally put away the hand-held fan that I had to sleep with. Today, life is good. We can go on longer walks, do not need medication and I can tell their gut is in good condition. Poop is as it should be and there are no more bad episodes. I am so happy, so very happy. I believe that you saved my Baley’s life and also improved Jax’s health. I told my vet as well as my neighbor about it and she is hooked on it for her new Corgi mix. I gave a large bag to my niece for her two big dogs and she now keeps it on hand. She lives in trailers and travels with her family around the country for her husband’s job. Can you imagine 2 big dogs in a small trailer with gas? Not a pretty picture. Now, since using your product, they have relief and so do the dogs. So, thank you again and again and again and again… Best Wishes & God Bless!

A great product overall… I see a difference in my dogs health. I like the ingredients and I will keep using this product. I would have liked it to come with a measuring spoon for ease of use though. That doesn’t hinder me from using it. It is effective and it isn’t smelly. Good product

I’m not sure what I love more, Bernie’s Perfect Poop or their amazing customer service. I used to use this product with my last dog, Angie. She would get random bouts of diarrhea that the vet couldn’t find a cause for, so I tried this on a whim. It worked perfectly. Unfortunately I lost her to cancer in Oct 2023.I adopted my current dog, Chase, in Dec 2023. I noticed his poop was soft. Not diarrhea level soft, but it was hard to pick up with a poop bag. When it didn’t get better after giving him time to settle in, I talked to his vet. Chase had been getting Purina Pro Plan and his vet suggested switching to the Sensitive Skin and Stomach formula. It helped a little. Because his poop was too soft, Chase also was having a problem with his anal glands randomly expressing, usually while we were cuddling 🤢. The vet suggested Glandex to firm up his poop and Larch Tree Arabinogalactan. His poop has still been soft after all of this, so I started giving him Bernie’s Perfect Poop. After giving him the dosage for his weight for a while and not seeing a difference, I emailed customer service to see if giving him more would be okay. Laura emailed me back. We emailed back and forth several times discussing Chase’s history and what I’d been doing already to help him. She answered all of my questions. It was clear how much she cared about him and his wellbeing. She even sent me a free bag. It’s rare to find that level of customer service these days. I love my dog so much, so when I find a company that cares that much about him too, I appreciate it so much.

Our soon-to-be 13 y/o Yorkie started having soft poops in November 2024 which progressed to full on paint splatters. After a vet visit, two rounds of antibiotics, a round of Panacur, a food swap and four different kinds of probiotics…she briefly improved and then had a relapse. She never *acted* sick at all during this time, but was having soft poops every 2-4 hours. We tried Bernie’s Perfect Poop beginning February 21, 2025. Her poops very quickly returned to their normal twice a day regularity and were of normal consistency. We did start her out on a very small dose (she only weights 7.8lbs) and gradually increased her to the recommended dose. She didn’t have any adverse side effects and is happy to eat the cheddar flavor. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I am hopeful that Bernie’s will prove to be a long term cure! I’ll update if that changes. We’re just so grateful to have found anything that made a difference!

Excellent product
This product really helped my dog with his loose stool. I only put a few in his food though as it can tend to cause constipation if too much is given. You should gauge based on the size of your dog.The amount used for the price of the bag is great. Definitely worth the money spent.

A high-quality product with good results.
I find this to be a really good product. You can definitely notice the difference in the dogs poop. I recommend the large bag because it will last a long time and when spread out over a long time it’s not very expensive. We give our dogs, a decent quality kibble and so something like this really helps to Improve the quality of their food.

Possible remedy for slurpy poop
After 2 years and multiple visits to the veterinarian ruling out parasites, guardia, allergies, etc I’ve been trying to find a resolve for my dog’s diarrhea issue. It’s a major problem when one cannot poop scoop properly and the dog continues to have the worst gas (constant) and within seconds of eating anything together with liquid poop. I am almost at the end of my first bag and believe it has helped some, although we are not yet at the 3 scoop stage suggested for the dog’s weight. I chose the cheddar cheese taste since the dog has a known allergy to chicken. So far he doesn’t have any issue eating this mixed in with his regular food. I also augment his feeding with psyllium husk powder found at an Indian grocery. These are my current remedies to manage scraping or chopping out of the ice (winter time) something other than his usual liquid. I haven’t noticed any improvement in the gas smell, which is super foul. This is the first rescue dog I’ve had with this problem and I have gone through process of elimination with dog foods, ending with a Canadian made kibble brand which contains salmon (contents with pork, lamb, venison, duck are not handled well).PS. Feeding him the Hydrolyzed protein (prescription) dog food has done nothing to resolve and is too expensive to continue hoping it will work one day.
