How should I transition my dog or cat to Wellness?
The best way to transition onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet. This is particularly important when the new food is much tastier than the old, as is the case with Wellness.
-
What does “natural” pet food mean?
Natural means we use ingredients in our complete & balanced food recipes that are derived from plants, animals and minerals and that Wellness pet food contains no artificial preservatives or colors.
-
What is the shelf life of Wellness Natural Pet Food?
Wellness dry foods have an expiration of 18 months from date of manufacture. Wellness canned foods have an expiration of 3 years from date of manufacture. Dog & cat plastic cups have an expiration of 2 years from date of manufacture.
-
How long can I store an opened can of Wellness wet food in the refrigerator?
If the canned food is well covered or sealed from the surrounding environment, the food should last up to 3-4 days. It is advised to consume before this time.

My 10 months old border collie mix puppy has a sensitive tummy and is a very picky eater. It has been hard to find treats she likes, but she loves these! They are also healthy. You can break them into smaller pieces which is great for trainings. We’ve ordered these numerous times now, and I’m sure will keep on

These are super easy to feed—just one bite chews! My dog loves them, and they’re perfect for training. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple treat for your pup.

These are great treats for puppy training! My pup LOVES them. Each treat is soft and big enough to break into smaller bite pieces to give for training sessions. They do have a smell, a smell my pup can’t resist. We’re on our second bag.All the pups at our training class love them too — Puppy approved!

My dogs absolutely love these treats. They smell really good and I like the size of the bigger bag. Ingredients seem to be healthy for the dogs. I pick up the bag and the dogs come running.

These are soft, nice size and our puppy really enjoys them. We have been using these for a few months to train our new puppy and it has been a success. I like that there healthy and for all ages. They’re are alot of pieces broken off smaller than I would have liked but they still are wonderful. I believe these will be our go to treat as long as there available.

These snacks always please my little dogs. The snacks are about 1/2” x 1/2” sized and they’re soft enough to tear into smaller pieces for training. My dogs are 10lbs each so the little pieces are perfect for them without filling them up. They can smell them as soon as I open the bag. They smell like bacon. I can use the little pieces to hide in their toys and around the house for some mental stimulation exercises. I’ve ordered this product a few times and the quality is always the same. Being able to break them down makes them a good value for the money because they last a long time.

I rely on reviews of others before buying a product. My Maltipoo loves these morsels and gets excited when I reach for the bag. You want go wrong even if they are picky, and my pup is very picky. The lamb and salmon is the favorite. Training is easier when you have a treat they enjoy.
MadreLobo –
I live the brand but none of my 3 dogs are big fans of these, even the non picky 2. It’s actually really weird. So they don’t work well for training treats but we’ll see if the neighbor’s dog is interested.

Not to bad …
In puppy training there are 4 grades of treats.1. RECALL – The very best treat reward … because a recall *must* work to save a nasty incident so tends to be fresh chicken or ham or cheese2. Training – When you want to reward new and good behaviour in the early days3. Standard treats that are there for normal trained behaviours like checking in or mat training4. Low value … dog will often turn his nose up.These fall between the 2-3 level. Puppy likes them and will work for them but soon becomes bored

Too big for my puppy
My australian shepherd found these difficult to chew– and he has a strong bite. This made them impossible to use during training because he would choke on them as he tried to complete an exercise.

What are the translucent shards?
When I cut these up, hard translucent shards of what look like….glass/ seashells/ bones fall out. Has anyone received a response from Wellness about what these are? Is it safe for my puppy to consume?

Your puppy would love this!
